There is just no way to convey the feelings that are team has been dealing with during our time here. Even though we've all been told our whole lives how lucky we were to be born in the U.S. and how good Americans have it compared to other nations, it just doesn't sink in until you look deep into the eyes of kids like the ones we've been working with in the townships. They have nothing, and they are so desperate and grateful for our time, attention and affection. Just a hug or a piece of candy means the world to them. This experience has been unforgettable and such a wake-up call for each of us. God has blessed us with so much and we each have so much to give to those who live our worst nightmares every day. My heart has been truly changed for the better and I'm so grateful for this experience.
On a lighter note, tonight we went to the top of Table Mountain to get an 360 view of the spectacular city at sunset. I was blown away by the beautiful scene and God's handy work.

Thanks for the daily blogs, as we bathe your team in prayer. Our Sunday School class, friends and family are all keeping up with the Cape Town team. This is Justin's mother again. I just want to let you know how much you guys are truly blessing me with each and every blog you post. Tears of joy just stream down my face every time I read your blogs and see the pictures. You know, Jesus said in His Word, "Suffer the little children unto me" and that is exactly what your team is doing. You are all experiencing first-hand what Jesus was talking about in the Bible - and just look at how it is blessing not only the team, but everyone that reads the blogs! You are all an amazing group of young men and women and I am praying for you all daily. The ministry you are doing there now will remain with you forever and ever, and it is and will change your lives forever too. May the Peace of the Lord be with you all in everything you do, your comings and goings, and your ministries for the Lord Almighty. I am so proud of all of you!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to someday have the chance to meet the entire team - that would really make my day!
